Director, Capital Improvements

Martin brings 15 years of extensive experience in the construction industry, focusing on multi-family residential projects. He began his career with general contractors, managing diverse projects for clients like Toronto Community Housing. This role laid a solid foundation for his expertise in coordinating complex renovations and capital projects. Transitioning to the owner/operator group at Homestead Landholdings, Martin oversaw a significant renovation program in Southern Ontario, managing 500 suite renovations annually. He led an in-house team of 15 renovators, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs during suite turnovers and capital projects.

In 2022, Martin joined Lankin Investments and holds the position of Director, Capital Improvements. In this position, he leads a team of managers to oversee all interior capital projects, including suite renovations and the implementation of in-suite laundry retrofits. His responsibilities also include managing the suite creation program, aimed at increasing density across Lankin’s portfolio, as well as executing sustainability and accessible living initiatives to align with the company’s goals. Martin’s comprehensive background in project management, team leadership, and sustainable development makes him a vital asset in driving Lankin Investments’ capital improvement efforts.
